The original building was built in 1841 as a Cobb and Co coach inn called The Squatters Arms. Since then, it has enjoyed many diverse lives, including that of a hostel, pottery barn, café, and antique shop. Soon, it will phoenix into the home of Fermière Truffles, becoming a premier tourist destination and already a charming bed and breakfast in the beautiful Cooma-Monaro-Snowy Mountains region of NSW. Located only 10 minutes from Cooma and just over an hour from Canberra, we proudly sit on Ngarigo Country.

We're proud to be a part of the Cooma region, where our charming bed and breakfast invites guests to enjoy a unique experience. We're always happy to share our knowledge and experience with others. Jane, who is also passionate about history, often shares tales of the building and its past inhabitants. Don’t forget to ask her about the ghosts—whose stories continue to be told amongst the regional community!
