About Fermière Truffles
Our History
The original building was built in 1841 as a Cobb and Co coach inn called The Squatters Arms. Since then, it has enjoyed many diverse lives, including that of a hostel, pottery barn, café, and antique shop. Soon, it will phoenix into the home of Fermière Truffles, becoming a premier tourist destination and already a charming bed and breakfast in the beautiful Cooma-Monaro-Snowy Mountains region of NSW. Located only 10 minutes from Cooma and just over an hour from Canberra, we proudly sit on Ngarigo Country.

We're proud to be a part of the Cooma region, where our charming bed and breakfast invites guests to enjoy a unique experience. We're always happy to share our knowledge and experience with others. Jane, who is also passionate about history, often shares tales of the building and its past inhabitants.
